Maple and Resin River Side Table
Richard created this beautiful circular resin river table using a Maple slab which he cast a grey river through using GlassCast 50 and a grey pigment.
The images show the steps Richard took to create the table from making a mould for the form, casting the resin river, cutting it into a circle and finally sanding and finishing before adding the recycled legs.
Thank you for sharing your table- it's beautiful!
ABOUT RJ_RAWCREATIONS
Richard is a hobbyist working from his garage on a part time basis which he wishes could be full-time!
He says he's just learning the techniques of resin work and has made some errors but luckily not that many but is learning the craft as he goes.
Richard first started working with resin about a year ago after watching the GlassCast River Table video tutorial online and decided to give it a go. He was hooked from the start and made his first table for the home a short time later. Feeling proud and pleased with the results Richard says that he is looking to increase the complexity and size of his projects one step at a time.
