Elm and Epoxy Bathroom Project

Thanks to our very talented Ashleigh from AW Epoxy Design for sharing this amazing Elm and Epoxy Bathroom Project.

Ash carried out this project on her own bathroom using Elm slabs with GlassCast 50 cast in and around to create a rivers effect. The resin was pigmented with metallic powders in white, purple and grey before being finished with a flood coat of clear GlassCast 3 resin to leave a super glossy finish.

The first step was to make and fit the sink panel before making the other panels to match.

Great work Ash, thanks for sharing your beautiful one of a kind bathroom- another stunning project!

ABOUT AW EPOXY DESIGN

AW Epoxy Design

Ash from AW Epoxy Design got into woodworking and working with resin when she saw a photo of a river table on Facebook one day and wondered how they were made and did a little research and found that they were made from epoxy resin.

Ash's first project wasn’t a river table it was an epoxy coated wooden bowl with epoxy filled cracks. Ash creates her own designs but also create commissions with customers. Her dream project would be a dining table sized river table.
