Nesting River Tables
These beautiful nesting river tables were handcrafted by Cameron of Ernest & Cooper Woodworks Co. in the UK.
Dovetail joined legs complete these live edge yew side tables. All voids, cracks and imperfections were filled with GlassCast 50 epoxy casting resin. For the white infilled table Cameron added Super White CULR epoxy pigment at around 5% to the GlassCast resin, creating a solid white colour. For the copper effect infills he added Copper SHIMR powder to the resin.
ABOUT ERNEST & COOPER WOODWORKS CO.
Cameron from Ernest & Cooper Woodworks Co grew up in Vancouver BC, Canada, and was inspired by his Grandpa Ernie (Ernest) who worked for many years as a ship builder, a cabinetmaker and craftsman. Ernie would create beautiful custom pieces of furniture in a tiny garden shed. Working away in his modest operations, the family was all astounded by what he was able to produce in such a small space. Cameron was always encouraged to spend time in the workshop and was taught to use traditional hand tools and woodworking techniques – this is where Cameron's love of carpentry began. Fast forward a few decades later, after years in the carpentry industry Cameron now had a shed of his own – albeit a slightly larger one than Grandpa Ernie's.
Cameron hopes that his son Cooper is inspired in the same way he was inspired by Grandpa Ernie all those years ago before!
Thus, Ernest & Cooper Woodworks was born.
