Dinner Plate Dahlia in Resin
Bea from Bea-utiful Creations cast this huge Dinner Plate Dahlia head in clear resin using layers of GlassCast Resin.
Bea preserved the dahlia flower head in a clear block measuring 15cm x 15cm block. This was achieved by casting a layer of GlassCast 10 to hold the flower then a deep layer of GlassCast 50 to encapsulate the bloom and finally top coated with a layer of GlassCast 10.
Thank you for sharing your work Bea, what an incredible piece!
ABOUT BEA-UTIFUL CREATIONS
Bea hails from Lancashire and got into working with Resin purely by chance after coming across a picture of a preserved flower online.
By following some resin groups on the internet and researching and gathering information, Bea gained enough confidence to give it a try.
It was a steep learning curve, but a very enjoyable one.
