This professional-grade desiccant is ideal for the fast and effective drying of flowers, greenery and other organic matter prior to resin casting projects. With a fine grain size of 0.5mm to 1mm it's perfect for drying small and large flowers alike. Drying flowers using CrystalDry flower drying silica crystals helps to retain the shape and colour of the flowers without causing damage to delicate petals.
CrystalDry works by removing the moisture from the organic matter by absorbing it. The crystals can be reused many times until they have absorbed too much moisture, they can then be reactivated through gentle heating in the oven and used over and over. Allow between 3 and 7 days drying time, although items with a high moisture content may require more time.
Supplied in a bucket with lid and handle for easy handling and storage. The bucket is oversized to allow you to fit in your flowers and greenery for drying.
Available in pack sizes of 500g, 2kg and 5kg.

The white flower drying silica crystals have a fine grain size of 0.5mm to 1mm, and are ideal for drying all flowers including smaller, more delicate flowers where the beads can get between the petals to decrease the drying time without causing damage to the petals or leave your petals looking dusty. Reactivation
CrystalDry silica gel can be used multiple times, but after several uses will become less effective, at this point you will need to reactivate the CrystalDry by following these simple instructions:

CrystalDry is non-toxic, non-flammable and inert. Keep out of reach of children and pets. You may wish to wear protective gloves and if you are not working in a well ventilated area it is recommended that you wear a dust mask, alternatively you can work outdoors or by an open window.
