Yew, Resin and Metallic Blue Table
Charles handcrafted this stunning table using a beautiful slab of Yew, GlassCast 50 and metallic blue pigment.
This was quite a big project to do with not having worked with resin before, and it's fair to say that Charles's craftsmanship combined with the beautiful resin work makes for a stunning combination, thank you for sharing your work with us!

Charles from 'By Charles - Curiously Crafted Furniture' likes to work with various materials, metal, hardwoods, softwoods, concrete and resin. To create art with a functional purpose, discovering the limits of materials and combining to create something completely new. Charles loves what he does with a passion and it was his father who originally got him started in furniture making when he was a child, however, he could not get an apprenticeship in woodwork so trained as a Blacksmith initially before becoming a welder/fabricator and also training as a mechanical engineer.
Throughout his life, Charles has had a great curiosity, hence the name 'By Charles - Curiously Crafted Furniture'.
