Walnut and Resin Oval Table
This beautiful Walnut and resin oval table was made by Hannington Ash using a lovely piece of kiln dried Burr Walnut sourced from Nelson Butler & Sons Timber.
Jason made an oval template and cut the slab to size before clamping the two halves into a frame. Once secure he then poured approximately 8 litres of Resin mixed with some copper metallic pigment.
The table top was left to fully cure before being demoulded and with help from Jamie flatted and polished the surface and finally mounted onto the base which is cleverly made using a stack of sycamore bowl blanks which were turned to create the overall shape.
Thank you for sharing your work with us, it's a beautiful table!
