Sharks in Resin Ocean Guitar Lamp
To create this amazing shark and resin ocean guitar lamp, Mateusz from MB Resin Art used a ukelele to create a mould form and repurposed the neck and strings on to the new body.
By using the existing body as the mould, resin barrier tape was applied to make the surface non stick, then the seaweed, sharks and LED's were positioned and then encapsulated in resin pigmented blue.
When the body was fully cured, Mateusz demoulded it and shaped it, before polishing the surface to a high gloss finish and reattaching the neck, bridge and strings and mounting on to a stand.
