Mini Shell Selection 25g

Stunning, small shell selection for use in resin art and craft projects. These shells are perfect for adding realistic effects to beaches on ocean inspired resin pieces, they are also ideal for small casting projects. Each shell measures approximately 10mm - 30mm each and are ready to use straight out of the bag.

How to Use

It's really easy to get started, if you wish to add the shells to a flat artwork simply mix together your resin and hardener (with or without pigments or sand for a beach scene) and apply to the surface as you normally would, as a final touch you can add the individual shells by pressing them into the surface firmly. The resin will act like an adhesive and hold the shells in place while the resin cures.

If you are creating a resin castings using shells, you may need to cast the resin in layers to suspend the shells inside. It may be best to pour a shallow layer of resin first and allow it to partially cure before adding the shells or other items to avoid the items sinking. Depending on the overall result you are trying to achieve may require some experimentation when casting with objects.
