This premium quality fine Silver Sand is perfect for creating realistic effects on ocean inspired resin beach artworks.
This natural silver sand has a very fine, silky texture and is dust and dye free - making it ideal for use in resin coatings and castings.

Beautiful, fine grain natural silver sand for use in resin art and craft projects. This sand is perfect for creating realistic beaches on ocean inspired resin pieces. The sand has a silky texture with a grain size of 150µ to 250µ and is pre-washed and dust and dye free, ready to use straight from the bag.
How to Use
It's really easy to get started, and once you have mixed together your resin and hardener you can mix in the sand to add great texture and effects to pieces of resin artwork or castings. It's down to personal preference how much sand you use in the resin as it all depends on the results you are trying to achieve. In the beach scene images shown where the end result was a solid beach we used 75g of GlassCast 3 Resin with 50g sand. This gave a solid beach effect over a wooden background and also provided a base to stick and press the shells into to complete the look.
This beautiful sand can also be added to resin geodes and castings including jewellery and encapsulations. To add another dimension to your artwork it's possible to mix in small amounts of SHIMR powder to add a sparkle to the sand.

This sand is great for use in my resin artwork, I make ocean and beach pieces and the colour and grain size of the sand is perfect for my work.
