Resin Lightning Table
Stuart from Marshbeck Interiors created this awesome Lightning Table.
Made with Fumed Oak and GlassCast 50 casting resin. Stuart created the recesses on the table top with the fractal burning technique and poured in the pigmented resin to create this striking result.
The GlassCast is pigmented using blue and ghost white - thanks for sharing, it's amazing!
ABOUT MARSHBECK INTERIORS
Marshbeck was established in 1982 by Stuarts Father and was exclusively a traditional furniture retailers. 14 years ago the mantle was passed down and Stuart has been busy moving into furniture design, manufacturing and finishing so the company are now able to offer a fully bespoke service for both modern and traditional furniture designs.
The company also has an interiors shop in beautiful Lavenham, Suffolk, selling many lovely bits to finish your home.
Stuart started experimenting with wood and resin around 2 years ago and quickly realised that this combination opened up a huge design freedom which he is really enjoying!
Stuart said "Glasscast has been my go to resin for a long time. The advantage of having 3 resins with different cure rates has both sped up production but more importantly, allowed me to produce completely unique effects that play with the heat generated through curing."
