Bee-Inspired Table
This stunning table is David's most recent project.
After seeing numerous geometric resin tables on various Facebook groups David was inspired to create his own, and hexagons came to mind and it made perfect sense to make it a retro Bee themed project.
David made a jig on his table saw sled and proceeded to cut oak hexagons playing around with them before he was happy with the placement, he then went on to pour GlassCast 50 pigmented with a metallic yellow mica powder.
Finally David added motion sensored LED lights to the underside of the table top to back light it and as a final touch added the amazing Bee shaped laser cut oak coasters to complement the theme.
What an amazing project David, thanks for sharing yet another fine example of your talent!
