Stranger Things Themed Resin Orb
This Stranger Things themed Resin Orb was made by first casting a blank to be turned on the lathe into shape.
Jamie used a piece of Brown Malee Burl, cut it to shape and decorated the surface using black acrylic paint which he added red peaks and left it to dry.
The burl was then placed into a container with the alien mounted on the burl before casting a clear galaxy resin with faint gold pigment to encapsulate it to create the blank.
This was left to fully cure before being mounted on a chuck and turned into shape.
Finally the orb was polished up to the incredible high-shine - thanks for sharing your work with us Jamie - it's incredible as ever!
