Ocean Inspired Resin Artworks

27 year old Beth feels very fortunate to live in Cornwall where she is inspired from weekly beach trips and coastal walks. The feelings of escapism, calmness and tranquillity felt by the sea, is translated into beautiful ocean inspired artworks.

This is just a small selection of Beth's resin artwork, it displays the versatility of resin as a media which can applied to canvas, used to create resin art on items like clock faces and poured over existing items which you can see in Beth's other project in the Gallery.

GlassCast 3 is the perfect resin for these projects, with it's self levelling, high-gloss qualities, it can be used with various pigments and sand to create beautiful ocean effects with realistic foamy waves layered on to create depth.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful work with us Beth!

ABOUT OUTSIDE INWARDS

Outside Inwards

Outside Inwards was established in June 2021 as a by-product of COVID-19. With strict regulations to stay indoors, this soon provoked the feeling of cabin fever. Long walks on the beach was just one activity that was taken away, and as a Cornish folk, one that was detrimental to both physical and mental well-being. With a longing for sea air, watching the sea foam form as it crashes on the sand - Outside Inwards was created.

Having shades of blues and foamy waters in our own homes mediated these feelings of cabin fever and deprivation of what we love. Now our aim is to continue bringing the outside inwards and provoke feelings of relaxation, tranquillity and wholesomeness.
