Oak and Resin River Table
This 1.5m Oak and resin river table was Ethan's first foray in incorporating resin into a project.
The table was handcrafted using a piece of live-edge Oak, which Ethan set up in a mould box, made to size and cast a resin river using GlassCast 50 with metallic blue pigments.
Once cured, Ethan flatted and polished the slab before attaching hairpin legs to complete the look.
Thank you for sharing your work with us Ethan, it's a beautiful table!
ABOUT EDC CARPENTRY
Ethan Christofe is a Carpenter based in Milton Keynes. He usually make custom projects, from bespoke furniture to oak garden gazebos.
Having always wanted to experiment with resin, and after seeing many reels, he decided to give it a go. The first project Ethan wanted to start small, like drink coasters, but a client had enquired about a table, so this was his first attempt on a river resin table - what a fantastic first project!
