Beautiful botanicals, perfect for use in resin projects. This assorted pack of dried, pressed flowers contains 35 pieces of flower heads and greenery.

Carefully packed on a card and vacuum sealed to keep the flowers flat, dry and allow safe transport. The card measures 140mm by 100mm and the flowers are ready to use straight from the bag. Each card has a selection of flowers, leaves and grasses.

How to Use

Carefully open the bag, either using the tear notch or using a pair of sharp scissors and carefully slide out the card. The easiest way to transfer the flowers to your resin work is by using tweezers. The flowers are very delicate and should be handled with extra care to avoid damage.

To encapsulate the flowers, pour a small amount of resin into the mould you are working with to create a base layer, this means that the flower will 'float' in the resin. Then using tweezers, carefully transfer each flower to your project and using a lollipop stick or cocktail stick, position the flower in the resin and gently push down to ensure no air bubbles are trapped under the petals or leaves. Finally, pour a layer of resin over the flower to fully encapsulate it in the pour.

I purchased both sets of dried flowers available from GlassCast, they are great value for money and come well packaged. I've used them for making resin coasters and they turned out beautifully!
