Mirka Abrasive Sanding Discs
High quality abrasive discs perfect for smoothing and flatting cured epoxy resin before finishing with a polishing compound. These are perfect for most disc based orbital sanding machines and available in 2 sizes, 125mm for most domestic and DIY machines and 150mm for the larger professional machines.
Available in a wide range of grits from 120 to 2000 grit. Choose from a pack of 10 discs or a full box of 50 discs for those larger projects.

Mirka abrasive sanding discs and pads are recognised as just about the best abrasives you can buy for flatting and finishing most resin based materials using a 125mm or 150mm dual action/random orbit power sander.
Our range includes the industry gold-standard 'Abranet ACE' mesh sanding pads which do not clog and allow sanding dust to be vacuumed up through the pad itself, making for almost dust-free sanding operations (when connected to a suitable dust extractor). We also stock the new Mirka Galaxy finishing pads.
Although Mirka have a huge range of abrasive products, we have selected the very best performing products specifically for resins and chosen the range of grits we use follow when flatting and finishing using a power sander.
How to Fit
The sanding discs feature a looped (Velcro) backing which is designed to attach easily and securely to the velcro interface on most power sanders.
Abranet ACE
Abranet ACE abrasive pads from Mirka are the industry-standard sanding pads for use with 125mm or 150mm round dual-action/random orbital power sanders.
Unlike the standard Abranet range which are aimed at woodworking, Abranet 'ACE' is a special version of Abranet which has been specifically developed for use on hard materials like solid surfaces and plastics such as polyester, vinylester and epoxy, making them the better option for flatting and finishing of most resin materials.
Mirka Galaxy
Mirka Galaxy pads are high performance sanding and finishing pads suitable for 125mm or 150mm diameter dual-action/random orbital power sanders.
Galaxy is Mirka's latest abrasive technology. The unique ceramic grain is self-sharpening, clog resistant and long lasting. In our experience, we have found fine grit (>P1000) Galaxy pads to perform as well as Mirka's industry-leading (but considerably more expensive) Abralon finshing pads, making them equal to the best finishing pads available.
